A Yum repository is a resource, for the Linux users (in our case, Fedora distribution) making it possible to install and update their softwares and libraries automatically and easily. The softwares and library are in a RPM packages.
This repository was created with an mire of gathering certain RPM which I consider important and some commercial softwares with an intention of better integrating the new people in the Linux world, without creating conflict with the official repository and of Livna.
A RPM: fedoraperso, make it possible to install several software, plug-ins, library very useful like Mplayer (codecs, graphic interface, Firefox plug-in), Wine, plugins flash and java for Firefox, Gparted, mencoder, Azureus, gnomebaker, Skype, GoogleEarth, yum-fastermirror).
To easily install fedoraperso write in the shell, in root:
rpm -ivh http://yum.inter-systeme.ca/install/fedora/fedoraperso.rpm
If not, to install the repository inter-systeme-base only, write in the shell, in root:

This repository makes it possible to continue to update via Yum certain RPM after the end of lifetime of a Fedora version (Fedora 5 and 6) and to resolve at the same time the conflicts of the dependences of versions. For the moment, the RPMS (and their dependences) concerned with the repo are:
To install this deposit (for i386 and x86_64 only), Inter-Systeme-bases (or fedoraperso) must already be installed (if not to see instructions in top) and you have only to write in root:

Then, to update your software, you have to only to write:
